Bio- Born and raised on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Sera Genovese is founder and owner of DollFace Aesthetics. As a pediatric nurse for over 15 years, she has traveled from San Diego to Denver. Most recently for the last 6 years she’s worked at Boston Children’s Hospital, as a radiology nurse. Working as a nurse and helping people has always been part of Sera’s DNA. Aside from working with a younger demographic, Sera has always been drawn to skin care, healthy innovations, beauty products and overall wellness.

In February 2023 she decided to take a leap of faith and pursue her dream of taking her curiosity and interest to the next level by enrolling in the Aesthetic Mentor school, which is run by the Board-certified, Harvard-trained top Plastic Surgeon in the country, Dr. Joseph Russo. Within no time she acquired countless certifications and an even stronger desire to give aesthetics a go. She then signed on with the Medical Aesthetics Associates, also run by Dr. Russo, and DollFace Aesthetics was born.

Wanting her business to have a meaningful name, it came naturally to draw upon a family nickname her father lovingly refers to his four daughters - “Doll Face”.

Motivation, a strong work ethic, and unwavering drive is the secret sauce for success. Sera has hit the ground running, first starting out as a concierge service, and now renting space in 3 salons in Quincy, Wellesley, and Norwell, as well as hosting frequent pop-ups and private parties throughout the community. Determined to open her own brick-and-mortar within the next year, Sera couldn’t be more excited to make the aesthetic field her full-time career.

Using today’s latest techniques, products, and innovations, Sera works with her male and female clients to enhance their natural beauty by providing individual and unique personalized care. She pays close attention to the goals her clients seek and delivers excellent results. Building up another’s self-confidence, empowering and encouraging others to make simple changes in their skincare routines, and seeing her client's bright smile and glowing skin is what it’s all about and continues to be Sera’s top priority.

Currently her services range from neurotoxins to dermal filler injections, IV hydration, vitamin shots, dermaplaning, PRX, Semaglutide, Kybella, Sculptra, and peels. Recently she purchased her first mobile device, the Breeze which is the first of its kind in the Boston area. The Breeze device takes non-invasive skin treatments to a new level by providing a trans-epidermal delivery while being a comfortable and relaxing experience for her clients.

With just a year under her belt and a dedicated patient base who sing her praises with their reviews and recommendations, Sera and DollFace Aesthetics is sure to be a force in the skincare field to be reckoned with and she’s just getting started.
